UNTRAINED AUDITIONS

GETTING THERE
Nearby street parking is available on Mair, Armstrong, Market and Ararat Streets with additional parking at Ballarat Station. If you are coming by train, it is roughly a 6-minute walk from the station.
Signage will be in place on the day to direct participants from the venue entrance to the audition space.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The audition will take the form of a full-day dance workshop led by acclaimed choreographer Lucy Guerin and a trained guest dancer. Participants will be guided through a series of movement exercises and will learn excerpts from UNTRAINED.
Please note that this is a progressive audition process. While participants are required to be available for the full day, some may finish earlier as selection rounds take place throughout the workshop.
Photography and video recording may occur during the day for promotional and social media purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please advise staff during check-in.
WHAT TO BRING
▶ Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing suitable for movement
▶ Runners/sneakers
▶ Water bottle
▶ Lunch
A small selection of fruit and snacks will be provided throughout the day.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Participants will be advised at two points during the day whether they will continue to the next stage of the audition process
